Tuberville Leaving Texas Tech

A Texas Tech spokesman confirms that Tommy Tuberville will be the next head coach at Cincinnatti.

Texas Tech will be issuing a statement regarding the future of its football program later this afternoon.

Tuberville was named the Red Raiders head coach January 9, 2010.

In three seasons at Texas Tech, he compiled an overall record of 20-17 and was just 9-17 in Big 12 games.

Tuberville will be introduced as the Bearcats new coach at a press conference Saturday at 5:30.
