Temperatures were in the 60's around the Permian Basin today, with some areas in the 70's.

A cold front will roll through tonight, and temperatures tomorrow will be in the 50's with a few 60's showing up in the far southern counties.

For the most part, temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler.

Sunday, temps will fall into the lower 40's.

Monday, we won't be getting out of the upper 30's.

Lows these nights will be in the high teens, lower 20's.

For this reason, watch out for pets, plants, pipes and people those nights.

A slight warm up will carry us into the lower 40's Tuesday, mid 40's Wednesday and into the 50's Thursday and Friday heading into the weekend.

Remember lows will stay below freezing throughout next week, so take the necessary precautions overnight.
