The event included a guest speaker from the El Paso Native Plant Society.

Keep Midland Beautiful also gave 13 different awards to different individuals and businesses.

"All of our volunteers are great, but every year it seems like we have some that really step up to the plate and go out of their way to help us with our mission," Doreen Womack of Keep Midland Beautiful told Big 2.

The organization is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and Keep Texas Beautiful.
