1 Injured In Major Rollover Crash Along Interstate 20 In Midland County

MIDLAND COUNTY -- One person is seriously injured in a rollover accident along Interstate 20.

    The crash happened around 2 PM Monday, west of the exit for F.M. 1788.

    Texas Department of Public Safety troopers tell Big 2 that an S.U.V. was heading west on Interstate 20 when the driver hit the back of a pickup truck and over-corrected their vehicle.

    The S.U.V. went airborne and flew over the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20. The vehicle then landed on its side on the south service road of Interstate 20.

    The driver of the S.U.V. was rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital with head injuries. The driver of the pickup truck wasn't injured.

    No names have been released.
