ODESSA -- A man will spend decades behind bars for a 2010 Odessa murder.

An Ector County jury sentenced Christopher Antonio Redic to 30 years in a Texas prison on the evening of January 31st.

Jurors convicted Redic, 26, of murder earlier in the afternoon on January 31st.

Redic shot Freddie Hall III in the parking lot of the Odessa Motor Inn (2021 East 2nd Street) on December 28, 2010.

Hall, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told Odessa Police that they heard the two men arguing, then heard a gunshot.
