There is equality in pharmacy.

It's the most equal job for men and women, according to research by Harvard economists.

Pharmacy is a fast-growing profession, offering a six-figure salary -- and the pay is nearly equal among women and men.

Women make up slightly more than 50-percent of all full-time pharmacists, according to 20-11 Census data.

Once you factor-in part-timers, women make up around 55-percent of the profession.

Full-time female pharmacists earned a median salary of 111-thousand dollars last year.

That's about 92 cents to the dollar of their male counterparts.

There is a small pay gap, but the report attributes that to some men working longer hours -- not discrimination.
