Another record likely broken this afternoon! We tied yesterday's 96 degree record, it was 63 years old. Today's record of 94 degrees is only 11 years old and I'm forecasting 95 today! Despite the sunshine and heat, winds will be gusty with peak gusts up to 35 possible through midday. Tomorrow, after a weak front stalls out across the Basin, temps will only hit 90. Still well above averagre but no records tested tomorrow. Winds will also be lighter Wednesday, but skies will remain sunny, the heat returns Thursday. Back into the 90's Thursday and through the weekend. Our next best chance for rain, albeit slim chance, will be later this weekend, possibly Sunday.
