Breezy north winds will keep temps in the 70's this afternoon but will also keep the fire threat elevated! Gusty north winds early in the day will provide another challenging day for firefighters. This evening as winds calm, temps will start to drop. Middle 40's, clear and calm Thursday morning before the West Texas sunshine brings a quick return of the heat. Upper 80's likely Thursday followed by upper 90's Friday. The wind returns Friday and Saturday as our next approaching cold fornt swings through dropping temps sunday back into the 70's.
