Here comes the heat West Texas, but before the heat, comes the wind! Expect gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon with highs near 80 before a cold front passes overnight tonight. Not expecting a big impact from this front other than delaying the heat up. Thursday will be in the lower 80's, 90 by Friday with triple digit heat expected Saturday and Sunday! Not only will the weekend be hot but the winds will pick up a bit from the west also, be mindful of fire concerns.
