A weak system passed overhead today which sparked up some storms in our area. Some of these were severe in far eastern Permian Basin. Some of that energy could linger through the night. Showers may be possible for Midland/Odessa, but the best chances are to the east. Beyond that, we're going to keep some of that energy in the forecast tomorrow and suggest a 20% chance of rain for most of the Permian Basin Monday. After that a cold front starts to make it's way south into our area, and this could bring minimal chances for storms late Wednesday. We will warm up to 100 on Wednesday ahead of that frontal system, and after that we could be looking at temperatures as low as 92 on Friday, behind the system.
