Rains are moving into the Permian Basin tonight, as a disturbance moves into the area.

These storms should not be severe, but could bring much needed rainfall in the overnight hours.

We will see better chances tomorrow as that system moves directly overhead.

Chances will be about 30% across the Eastern Permian Basin, and about 40% in the Davis Mountains Region.

These rain chances will persist into the weekend, with 20% chances on both Saturday and Sunday.

As far as temperatures are concerned, without the presence of a strong ridge of high pressure, and a partially covered sky, we will remain in the mid to lower 90's through the weekend and into the work-week.
