Rain Chances Continue Through the Weekend, 8-24-12

Low pressure will be slow to move east which will allow for continued scattered rain and thunderstorm chances through Sunday. Heavy downpours, gusty winds and frequent lightning strikes will be the main concerns each afternoon.
Temperatures will remain in the mid to lower 90s through early next week. Saturday will be the trickiest day for temperatures. If we see more cloud cover and more rain temperatures will remain in the lower 90s, more sun would mean slightly warmer temperatures.
