Today will be the last day of temperatures in the 90s for a few days.  Afternoon storms will first develop to our west in the Guadalupe and Davis Mountains as well as southeast New Mexico.  The activity will then move east during the evening hours.  Gusty winds, hail and lightning will be the main concerns.

Increasing moisture will allow for cloud cover Thursday and Friday helping to cool temperatures.  Showers will develop west then progress east for Thursday.  Thursday night into Saturday morning we will see significant chances for rainfall.  Rain will be scattered and heavy at times.

Sunday we will be in the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies.
