Heavy Rain for your Friday, 9-28-12

Heavy rain throughout the morning has caused major flooding concerns across West Texas. There is abundant moisture at the surface and aloft allowing for this heavy rain even to happen.
Although the rain isn't at the same intensity it was during the early morning hours the threat remains for thunderstorms to develop throughout the day and evening hours. Activity will be scattered but heavy rain will be possible in any storms that develop.
Late Saturday we will start to dry out and see peaks of sun. Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s Saturday and will warm in the lower 80s Sunday into early next week.
Late Sunday into Monday we could also see isolated storms develop.
