Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week ahead of an approaching cold front.  A weak cold front will cool temperatures slightly from the upper 80s/lower 90s into the lower 80s.

A much stronger front will move through during the early morning hours Saturday bringing much colder air for the weekend.

In similar scenarios when the front came through during the morning, highs for the day occurred right after midnight and right now Saturday looks to be just like that, with temperatures dropping during the afternoon.  Saturday temperatures in the 60s are not out of the question with possibly some upper 50s in the northernmost areas.
