GRANDFALLS -- Gasoline is now a rare commodity for people living in Grandfalls.

The town's only gas station -- an Allsups --  shut down their gas pumps Monday, in order to undergo renovations.

Many Grandfalls residents tell Big 2 that the shutdown is a huge inconvenience -- since it's forcing them to fill up in Monahans or Fort Stockton.

Employees at the Allsups tell Big 2 that the renovations will include additional gas pumps  as well as an expansion of the convenience store.

The pumps at the Grandfalls Allsups should be operational in 2 weeks, with the convenience store renovations slated for completion in the next few months.
