PERMIAN BASIN--- The Permian Basin is busy with voters trying to get their last minute votes in.

Both Ector County and Midland County have experienced a high number of voters on Tuesday.

Elections Administrators say that they are expecting even more to come in as they get closer to closing the polls.

"I do think we'll have more election day voting than we did in 2008" says Midland County Elections Administrator, Ruth Sloan.

Over at the Ector County Annex, Elections Administrators say they have been experiencing large numbers on Election Day as well.

"In our early voting we had 21,743 which was still less that we had in 2008" says Ector County Elections Administrator, Mitzi Scheible.

Scheible says that because the early voting numbers were low, Ector County will most likely have a bigger turn out on Tuesday.
