Another Cold Front Will Bring Cooler Temps To The Basin Tomorrow 11-25-2012

By: Matthew Farrell
Updated: November 25, 2012

We saw temperatures way above normal today with some breezy SW winds and clear skies.

Temperatures were up to 15 degrees above normal close to and above 80 degrees in some locations.

Things look a little different tomorrow, however.

A cold front will be making it's way through the Permian Basin from north to south around mid-day.

Locations south of Midland and Odessa will approach 80 degrees again, as the cold front will be a little slower to pass through those cities, while locations to the north of Midland won't get out of the upper 60's/lower 70's.

This will be another dry cold front, but it could kick up a few clouds as it passes through.

We will see peak temperatures before the front passes, so temperatures could be cooler around 5 PM than they will be at noon.

Tuesday, temperatures will not get out of the lower 60's, in fact we are forecasting 60 degrees for the offiicial high at Midland International Airport.

After that, we see a warming trend through the weekend, and by December 1, we could be in the upper 70's.

Cloud cover will also be minimal again this week.
