Warm Again Today, But Changes Are Right Around The Corner 12-3-2012

By: Matthew Farrell
Updated: December 3, 2012
Fog this morning will be replaced by sunny skies and southwesterly breezes this afternoon.

This will help us, once again, reach near 80 degrees.

Some locations to our west and south will actually reach the 80 degree mark today.

Changes come tonight, though, as a cold front rolls through in the overnight hours.

Between 12 and 4 am, the cold front will come through the Permian Basin switching winds to the north and dropping our daytime high about 10 degrees for Tuesday.

After that, high pressure settles in and temperatures will rebound with southerly winds back to the low 70's by Wednesday.

Thursday, we will see the upper 70's return before another cold front cools us down again into the lower 70's Friday, and the mid 60's for the weekend.

These cold fronts will be dry as they roll through, and the outlook looks sunny throughout the forecast period.
