Jingle Bell Run Hits Pavement This Weekend

MIDLAND -- The longest running 5K in the Permian Basin set to hit the pavement this weekend!  It's the 2012 Junior Achievement Jingle Bell Run!

EVENT THEME: Runners/Walkers are encouraged to dress in a Christmas theme. Jingle bells will be provided and can be worn on shoes, or clothing.

START/FINISH: Downtown Midland at Illinois and Loraine Streets.

RACE EVENTS:
Kid's Fun Run at 8:45 AM
5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) at 9:00 AM
Awards Ceremony........... at 11:00 AM
Parade & Tree Lighting Ceremony at 3:30-7:00PM

ENTRY FEE:
Adults .............................................$25.00
Students (show school ID)...................$20.00
12 and under (don't want a shirt)............. FREE!
12 and under (want a shirt).......$12.00

T-SHIRTS: Runners registered by November 20, 2012 will receive a cotton t-shirt. T-shirt not guaranteed after November 11, 2012. Sizes for late registrants subject to
availability.

REGISTRATION: Entrants should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the event. Registration will be at the start area at 7:30AM (Loraine & Illinois).

Top 3 overall male & female
Traveling trophy

FOOD/BEVERAGES: Snacks and drinks will be provided. Water stations will be located throughout race route.
