ODESSA--One man is dead after leading police on a high speed chase in Odessa Saturday night.

Police have identified 24-year-old Marcus Hernandez and the suspect and the deceased. The chase started when Odessa police attempted to stop Hernandez near Andrews Highway and Dixie Avenue.

Reports say Hernandez took off leading a chase at speeds higher than 100 miles per hour. The chase finally ended around 11:00 p.m. when Hernandez rear ended another vehicle on University at Pagewood Avenue.
