Seasonable New Years Eve Day with Gusty Winds, 12-31-12

There is a High Wind Warning in effect for the Guadalupe Mountains from 11am MDT to 8pm MDT for gusts to 60 mph.  There is a Hig Wind Advisory in effect  from 11am MDT to 6pm MDT for the Eddy County plains, the Van Horn and HIghway 54 Corridor along with Reeves County and the Upper Trans Pecos for gusts to 55 mph. 

A cold front will push south early tomorrow bringing chilly air to settle in for the rest of the week.  Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 40s through Friday before warming to near normal for the weekend.
