ODESSA -- An oil tanker rolls over on an Odessa highway.

The crash happened around 10:30 AM Tuesday along East Loop 338 near Interstate 20.

Odessa Police tell Big 2 that an oil tanker was heading north on East Loop 338 when the driver lost control while turning onto the Interstate 20 service road.

The big rig then rolled over several times.

Diesel from the tanker spilled all over the road after the wreck, and crews worked to mop up the spilled fuel.

The driver of the tanker was rushed to Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the crash.

Police say that the driver will also get a ticket for speeding.
