New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is criticizing the NRA for their new attack ad that references the president's children.

During a press conference Thursday Christie called their ad reprehensible and says the group has lost some of its credibility.

Christie's comments are expected to draw criticism from conservatives who chided him for appearing too close to President Obama during Superstorm Sandy.

While Christie has talked about gun control he has yet to take a firm stance on either side.

He says the country needs to have a discussion about comprehensive solutions.
