Police arrested Andrew Cobos on January 24th.
Officers say that Cobos, 17, drove a black Ford Explorer in the 2600 and 2700 blocks of Carver Street around 3:50 AM on January 21st.
Two passengers in the Explorer -- Christian "Moses" Cabazuela and Zane Fernandez -- reportedly took turns firing at homes from the S.U.V. with a semi-automatic handgun.
One of those bullets allegedly fired by Cabazuela, 14, and Fernandez, 14, hit Rosa Hernandez in the forearm.
Hernandez, 6, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the Carlsbad Medical Center after the incident.
Now, Cobos, Cabazuela and Fernandez are facing charges in connection with the shooting.
Cabazuela and Fernandez were arrested on January 21st.
