Whole Foods Recalls Salmon

Whole Foods is recalling a lot of wild Alaskan salmon because of the threat of Listeria.

The U-S food and Drug Administration says the recall was announced after a sample tested positive for the bacteria.

The recalled product was sold in stores in a dozen states.

Listeria can cause a fatal infection in young kids, the frail or elderly, or people with compromised immune systems.

The recall notice says no illnesses have been reported.
