MD Pizza says its sales were up 30 to 40 percent on Super Bowl Sunday.
The owners say the big sporting event changes people's purchasing habits.
"Normally people dine in or eat late," MD Pizza owner Diana Chingwang told Big 2. "But yesterday we had people calling, starting about 1 PM to place an order for the night time. And after 6 PM, it was so quiet."
Chingwang says that MD Pizza had customers calling in their orders 2 or 3 days before the Super Bowl.
The largest order filled by MD Pizza was comprised of 11 large pizzas.
