Former Congressman Ron Paul set social media a twitter over controversial tweets about a murdered Navy Seal.

Former seal and best-selling author Chris Kyle and a friend were murdered Saturday at a Texas gun range.

Police say a 25-year-old former marine, possibly suffering from PTSD, shot both men to death.

Paul tweeted "Kyle's death seems to confirm that 'he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.' Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense."

The former SEAL won two silver stars and was an outspoken defender of Second Amendment rights.

The 38-year-old claimed a record 160-sniper killings during his 10-year military career.

He also helped form a foundation that assisted military veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.
