Police recently arrested Pascual Hernandez, Jr., although he wasn't listed in jail records in the Midland County Detention Center on Wednesday
Hernandez is charged with theft (between $1,500 and $20,000).
Police say that Hernandez advertised construction services under the name "Hernandez Home Improvements" in the Thrifty Nickel recently.
The ads claimed that "Hernandez Home Improvement" could work on add-ons, fences, remodeling, roofing, painting, repairs and house leveling-concrete.
One person reportedly contacted Hernandez and asked him to move a house to a new lot, while remodeling it.
Hernandez reportedly collected a $5,000 down payment for the project, but police say he didn't complete any work on the project.
The victim contacted officers, who later arrested Hernandez.
Now, police are looking for more victims of Hernandez's scam within the Midland city limits to come forward.
Anyone in Midland who's been victimized by the scam should call Midland Police at (432) 685-7108.
Anyone outside the Midland city limits who's been victimized by the scam should call the law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction in that area.
