MCCAMEY -- The McCamey I.S.D. is looking a new superintendent.

McCamey I.S.D. Superintendent Donny Wiley resigned during a special school board meeting on February 14th.

Wiley told Big 2 on Friday that he felt it was time to retire.

In particular, Wiley expressed frustration with the Texas Legislature.

Texas lawmakers took $1 million from McCamey I.S.D. in 2012.

Wiley has reportedly been told that the district isn't getting any more money, and needs to "tough it out."
