Odessa Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Man At Knifepoint

ECTOR COUNTY -- An Odessa man is accused of sexually assaulting a man at knifepoint.

    Edgar Gonzalez Montes was arrested on February 15th.

    According to arrest affidavits, Montes, 24, put a knife against an older man's throat and forced the victim to have oral and anal sex with him in a vehicle.

    The assault reportedly happened near the intersection of Ivory Street and U.S. 385 in Ector County.

    Now, Montes is charged with felony burglary of a building, felony aggravated sexual assault, misdemeanor burglary of a vehicle and misdemeanor evading arrest.

    As of Wednesday evening, Montes was being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on $151,500 bond.
