Former Midland County Jailer Facing Charges For Allegedly Sleeping With Inmate

MIDLAND -- A former Midland jailer is facing charges for allegedly sleeping with an inmate.
Shaquela London is charged with improper sexual activity with a person in custody.
London, 22, is accused of sleeping with a male inmate at a multipurpose room at the Midland County Detention Center in early January.
The incident reportedly happened while London was under investigation for alleged misconduct.
London was later fired from the Midland County Detention Center.
As of Friday evening, London wasn't listed in jail records at the Midland County Detention Center.
