ODESSA -- More pit bulls have been seized after a vicious attack that left a woman hospitalized in Odessa.

Odessa Animal Control officers took 2 additional pit bulls into custody on Wednesday.

Those dogs -- as well as 4 other dogs who were already seized -- will be quarantined for 10 days.

Odessa Animal Control officials say that 6 pit bulls mauled Anna Marie Salcido while she was walking in the 3700 block of West 10th Street around 2 PM on March 11th.

Salcido, 54, suffered numerous injuries throughout her body during the attack.

Salcido underwent surgery at Medical Center Hospital after the attack.

The owner of the dogs -- Joshua Moore -- got several citations for having dogs at large without licenses or rabies vaccines.

Moore, 17, has since signed the rights of the original 4 pit bulls that were quarantined over to Odessa Animal Control.

A second man -- 41-year-old Maurice Henderson -- was also cited for interfering with a humane officer.
