BIG SPRING -- A federal fugitive was arrested during a traffic stop on Friday.

Chief Deputy Ben Cates says that a pick-up was pulled over on 7th street, and inside was Jeremy Minter.

Minter was wanted for violation of his supervised release.  He was originally arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, and that was why he was on supervised release.

Two other people were arrested from that vehicle and were turned over to Big Spring Police.
