Bobcat Attacks Young Boy In Carlsbad, NM

CARLSBAD, NM -- A bobcat attacks a young child at a Carlsbad, NM zoo.

    The Carlsbad Current-Argus reports that a bobcat attacked Ethan Kennedy at the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park in Carlsbad on March 18th.
   
    Kennedy's mother was reportedly holding Kennedy, 3, and leaning over the barrier of the exhibit when the bobcat snatched the young boy out of her hands.

    Kennedy reportedly suffered a laceration to his eye and cuts to his head.

    Kennedy reportedly needed several stitches to help his injuries heal.

    As of Thursday, no charges or citations have been filed for the incident.
