Gusty west winds will warm the Permian Basin to the middle 60's today before winter's cold grip tightens! Tonight at 10pm expect clouds to roll in and winds to shift to the north along with a significant drop in temps! With the clouds wecan't rule out rain showers north of I-20 switching to sleet then snow as temps continue to drop. By sunrise look for roads to be a bit slick so wake up extra early and plan for a slow commute. Even if your area does not get the precip, cold temps will be areawide! Highs Wednesday will be lucky to breack the 32 degree mark with wind chills in the teens. This will only be a bried blast though, Thursday sunshine returns and by Saturday, 60's return to the Basin!
