After a dagnerously dry and windy Thursday with peak wind gusts at 48 mph and highs in the upper 80's much nicer weather will finish the work-week. Today temps will top out near 78 with much lighter north winds. Gusts still possible to 25 mph so fire danger is still high, please be careful today. A bit warmer tomorrow to start your weekend with highs near 83 but the intense heat returns Sunday, 95 expected. This heat will last into early next week with mid-90 highs much of next week. Wind will bebreezy also so expect extremely high fire danger along with the heat. Very summer like temperatures and very spring-like winds are a recipe for disasterous fires so be sure to keep it tuned to Big2 News for updates!
