Seems like all of our rain and severe weather is missing us to the east. This will be the case all week and into next week as the dry line pushes as far east as Dallas! A slow moving cold front will hang out just north of keeping rain in the forecast for the Midwest and west Texas praying for rain. Only a tenth of an inch has fallen since January 1st whereas our normal rainfall in around 2 inches. We are dry. To add heartache to the dryness, winds will be gusting to near 40 mph this afternoon elevating our fire weather concerns. Tuesday will be another windy day before the coldfonr finally pushes south. This will drop temps from the 90's into the 70's Wednesday along with much lighter winds. The winds stay light the rest of the week but temps skyrocket back to the middle 90's by Friday.
