Upper level low is pushing east and encountering a very moist atmosphere causing record breaking rainfall and major flooding across West Texas.  Previous record for May 10 was 1.47", again the airport is shattering that record today.  Heavy downpours will continue through the afternoon and will lighten and come to an end overnight.  Friday could see an isolated storm in the far eastern Permian Basin as moisture tries to wrap around the low.  Saturday and Sunday are looking pleasant.  We could see more rain and storms early next week.
