Enjoy today because the next few days will be scorching as temperatures will soar into the triple digits.  Friday will be mostly sunny with breezy southeast winds.  Saturday through Monday will be sunny with hot temperatures.  A Fire Weather Watch is already in effect Saturday for the Guadalupe Mountains, the Van Horn corridor and Southeast New Mexico.  Record breaking heat for Sunday (previous record at MAF is 103) and we'll stay hot into early next week.  The next weather event will be in the form of a slow moving cold front that will move south next week increasing clouds Tuesday with chances for rain as well.
