Temperatures will rise into the triple digits for the third day in a row this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front.  As this cold front moves south we'll see winds shift out of the east during the overnight. This will bring in moisture from the gulf.  Tomorrow afternoon and night will be our best chances this week to see any thunderstorm and rain activity.  We have a 40% chance in Midland and Odessa.  Most favorable areas for rainfall will be the northern Permian Basin.  As we head into Wednesday and Thursday the best areas to see storms will be to our west in the Guadalupe and Davis Mountains.  Along with possible rainfall the cold front will also cool us down into the 90s this week.
