breaking news
An upper-air feature known as an omega block will keep high pressure in our forecast for at least the following week. At the surface, southeast flow will elevate our humidity slightly, but we are too far from the source to see any appreciable moisture. Also, with high pressure in the atmosphere, air will be sinking anyway, so we are not looking to see any rainfall through the five day period. Sinking air also means air that heats as it is compressed in the higher pressures closer to the surface. This means we will see temps rising through the weekend culminating with a high around 98 on Monday.
