A few shortlived storms moved through the area today, but they dissipated quickly without the presence of any upper and mid level support. That ridge of high pressure is still growing over us and will keep the air sinking and heating up through the weekend into next week. We could see our first 100 degree readings at the airport for the summer by either Monday or Tuesday.
