High pressure continues to strengthen over Texas, which will keep those temperatures on the rise through the weekend and early next week. The sun will be shining during this time and the winds will remain light. We are watching a disturbance in the Gulf, however that could spawn a hurricane which could impact the Texas coast. There are several different forecast models and each one has a different path for this storm. Several foreign models are bringing it to the Texas coast, but the North American model shows the storm moving toward Florida. We will keep an eye on this storm, but if it does move toward Texas, it could move across and provide some serious rainfall for the Permian Basin. Until that time, don't be surprised to see sunny skies and 100+ temperatures through Wednesday.
