Happy Fourth of July everyone, looks like a favorable forecast today. We're going to see seasonable temps today in the mid to lower 90's. Clouds will be prevalent throughout the day, but will start burning off in the night time hours. The best chances for rain will be out in the Trans-Pecos, similar to last night and those could stick around throughout the evening. If you live in a line from Van Horn down through about Marfa, you could see some localized flooding and 1-2" of rain tonight. The rain chances taper off to the east, and the central Permian Basin is looking for a 15-25% chance of seeing some spotty, isolated showers. After that, our clouds decrease tomorrow and the sun comes out Friday, and we will top off at 95 degrees that day. The clouds return for the weekend and we'll see temps around 94 degrees.
