High pressure continues to spin off to our north with most of the southern plains experiencing some amount of sinking air. That being said, it's in just the right spot to keep easterly flow and moisture coming into our area. Our distance from the Gulf keeps the humidity levels subdued a bit. All of these elements combine to keep some minimal rain chances in the forecast for the next three days. Any closer to the heart of high pressure and we could see temperatures jumping into the triple digits, and any closer to the gulf and we'd be seeing some very tropical conditions. Our location in the West Texas desert will keep us in the mid-90's with chances for isolated showers (10-20%) on any given day this week.
