Temperatures will continue to stay in the mid to lower 90s through early next week.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon in southeast New Mexico and the Guadalupe Mountains and spread east during the overnight hours.  Heavy downpours, gusty winds and lightning will be the main concerns.

Rain chances will stay with us through the first half of the weekend.  Tomorrow afternoon and evening we have a 30% chance to see storms and a 20% chance to see activity on Saturday.

Sunday rain chances will diminish and we will see mostly sunny skies.
