Temperatures will remain hot this afternoon with lots of sunshine and scattered afternoon clouds.

A cold front to our north will try to move storms into the northern basin during the overnight hours.  Brief heavy downpours and gusty winds will be the main concerns.

Thursday and Friday will remain hot in the upper 90s and lower triple digits.

Relief will come in the form of a strong cold front.  The passage will occur during the overnight Friday.  Winds will be gusty and areas of blowing dust are possible on Saturday.  There is a slight chance to see rain with this front.  Temperatures will drop into the 80s for both Saturday and Sunday.
