Wanted Suspect With Fort Stockton Ties Arrested In Roswell, NM

ROSWELL, NM -- A wanted fugitive from Southeast New Mexico has been arrested in Roswell, NM.

    Roswell Police say that Robert Madrid was arrested in the 900 block of North Beech Avenue around 5:20 PM on October 11th.

    Madrid, 25, is charged for household member, criminal sexual penetration, and aggravated burglary.

    Madrid is held in the Chaves County (NM) Jail without bond, since he violated his probation.

    Roswell Police say the crimes Madrid, 25, is wanted for all happened in the 800 block of North Beech Avenue in Roswell on September 18th.

    Before Madrid's arrest in Roswell, police had indicated that Madrid could have been hiding in the Fort Stockton area -- since he has ties there.
