Winds will shift to the northeast today and become gusty behind the front.  The cold air really arrives tomorrow as highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.  Mostly cloudy skies could give way to a light shower as well.

Friday night lows will drop into the 30s.  A light freeze is possible in the Lea County and the northern Permian Basin.  Saturday we will remain cool in the upper 50s with clearing skies.

Sunday will be in the 60s.  Next week we will gradually warm into the 70s.
